U.S. Xpress in Tunnel Hill, GA is seeking an I/C Consultant to supervise drivers and execute initiatives focused on driver satisfaction and customer focus. The role is Monday–Friday, 8AM–6PM, with no remote option, and offers a compensation range of $48,800–$61,000.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in driver or customer-facing roles, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Supervise up to 30–50 drivers and uphold safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in driver or customer-facing role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise driver performance according to company policies, DOT regulations, and applicable laws.
• Directly supervise multiple drivers and provide coaching or training as needed.
• Ensure driver satisfaction while over the road and address issues promptly.
• Recommend performance documentation, promotions, or terminations as appropriate.
• Address driver disputes and promote safe operations.
• Maintain driver capacity and the seated truck count to meet service needs.
• Ensure on-time service and coordinate with Customer Service as needed.
• Communicate service deviations to Customer Service quickly and accurately.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to uphold company values and mission.
• Respond to driver inquiries via phone, live chat, and email regarding delays, service issues, or payroll.
• Monitor KPIs around P&L, fuel management, and utility.
