You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, keep vehicles clean, log mileage and safety records, and support front desk with guest requests when feasible. A valid driver's license and excellent customer service are required.

Position Summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Driver to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott. The Driver serves as an ambassador of the hotel, providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services to hotel guests while delivering exceptional hospitality. This role is responsible for operating the hotel shuttle, assisting guests with luggage, maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle, and ensuring every guest interaction reflects Marriott brand standards and Coury Hospitality's commitment to excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Guest Transportation & Service

• Provide safe and timely transportation for hotel guests to and from designated destinations, including airports, local businesses, restaurants, and attractions as approved by hotel management.
• Welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner and assist with luggage loading and unloading.
• Offer information regarding hotel amenities, services, and local points of interest.
• Maintain a positive and helpful attitude while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensure guests are transported comfortably and efficiently while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Vehicle Operations & Maintenance

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of shuttle vehicles, including interior and exterior presentation.
• Ensure vehicle fuel levels are maintained and coordinate service appointments as necessary.
• Complete all required vehicle logs, mileage reports, and safety documentation accurately.
• Follow company procedures regarding vehicle operation and accident reporting.

Safety & Compliance

• Operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Follow emergency response procedures and promptly report accidents or incidents.
• Ensure passenger safety during loading, transportation, and unloading.

Hotel Support Responsibilities

• Assist front desk and guest services with guest requests when transportation duties permit.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization in guest-facing areas.
• Deliver items, packages, or guest amenities as needed.
• Assist with luggage handling and group arrivals/departures.
• Support hotel operations and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum age requirements as established by company insurance policies.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred

• Previous hotel, transportation, or hospitality experience.
• Experience operating passenger vans, shuttles, or commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of local roads, attractions, and transportation routes.
• Marriott or hotel brand experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely lift and carry luggage weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a vehicle.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
