Job summary

zTrip ATX in Austin, TX seeks a Driver Compliance Specialist to ensure driver compliance with company and regulatory requirements while fostering engagement, retention, and performance excellence. You will manage permits, licensing, documentation, audits, and driver support to promote workforce stability and operational excellence.

Passionate about safety, accuracy, and relationship-building, you will guide onboarding, maintain records, and partner with regulators and internal teams to uphold

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, compliance, operations, driver management, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of permitting, licensing, DOT regulations, or transportation compliance preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional organizational and administrative abilities.
• Experience coaching employees or independent contractors preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage driver permits, licenses, certifications, and regulatory documentation.
• Monitor permit expiration dates and ensure timely renewals.
• Guide drivers through onboarding, permitting, licensing, and qualification requirements.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and driver files.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate compliance updates, deadlines, and requirements to drivers.
• Partner with regulatory agencies and internal departments as needed.
