Job summary

Cargomatic is seeking a Safety & Compliance Manager in Dallas, TX to lead driver safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management for our Dallas operations. You will own driver-focused safety programs, ensure FMCSA/DOT compliance, and support audits with incident response and training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety and compliance experience in trucking/transportation/logistics.
• Strong working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Experience administering driver safety programs and audits.
• Experience managing drug and alcohol testing programs is a plus.
• Highly organized with strong documentation and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with drivers and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage driver safety and compliance programs for company drivers and owner-operators.
• Monitor logs, hours-of-service, inspections, CSA scores, and in-cab events; enforce corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents and safety events; prepare reports and implement corrective actions.
• Lead driver onboarding and safety training; distribute onboarding materials and ensure regulatory awareness.
• Maintain FMCSA portal data, permits, inspections, and audit documentation; support internal/external audits.
