Job summary

The Delaney At The Vale is seeking a hospitality focused Driver to join our team in Woburn, MA. This part-time role (24 hours/week) is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled, and may assist with housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver.
• Must successfully pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• AssistDirector of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
