Job summary

The Delaney At The Vale in Massachusetts is hiring a hospitality-focused Driver responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips, and assisting with housekeeping as needed.

This part-time role offers 24 hours per week, pay between $19 and $22 per hour, plus benefits such as Health Insurance, 401(k), PTO, and more. You will drive safely and support resident comfort while coordinating with Life Enrichment staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver.
• Must successfully pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
