Job summary

The Delaney At The Vale in Massachusetts is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team. This part-time role is 24 hours per week and pays $19-$22 per hour, with benefits including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

You will transport residents to grocery stores and outings, assist with offloading and loading, and help with light housekeeping as needed. A high school diploma or GED and at least six months of bus/van driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of bus/van driving experience or more.
• Must pass DOT physical.
• Part-time schedule with 24 hours/week.
• Hospitality minded and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist residents on and off vehicle and coordinate equipment as needed.
• Load groceries and other items into the vehicle.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash the vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required
• Must successfully pass DOT physical
