Job summary

Rose Senior Living Beachwood is seeking a hospitality-focused Driver to transport residents to stores and outings, and assist with housekeeping duties as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of bus/van driving experience. Hours are 8:30am–5:00pm with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. Vaccination status may be requested as part of employment, with accommodation options available where approved.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.

• Perform housekeeping functions as directed when needed.
• Support revenue and occupancy goals by facilitating activities and transport.

Rose Senior Living Beachwood is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required

Hours: 8:30am - 5pm

Salary: $16.00 per hour.
