Job summary

Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting a hospitality-focused Driver to join our team. This per diem/as-needed position transports residents to grocery store, outings, and trips as scheduled, and may assist with housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities include driving on schedule, assisting residents on/off the vehicle, coordinating equipment, loading items, and maintaining the vehicle. Vaccination proof or exemption may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months experience as a bus/van driver.
• Valid Driver License.
• COVID-19 vaccination proof or approved exemption may be required.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist residents on and off vehicle and coordinate equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes).
• Load groceries and other items into the vehicle.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Support revenue and occupancy goals through dependable transportation service.

Job Description Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team! This position is per diem/as-needed. This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required
• Valid Driver License
