Job summary

The Delaney At The Vale is seeking a hospitality-focused Driver to support residents by transporting them to grocery trips, outings, and extended trips as scheduled. This part-time role (24 hours/week) also involves assisting with light housekeeping as needed.

Responsibilities include driving the vehicle, assisting residents on/off, loading groceries, coordinating maintenance, and contributing to a service culture that supports occupancy and revenue goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required.
• Must successfully pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

The Delaney At The Vale is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.

Schedule: Part-time opportunity, 24 hours/week

Salary: $19-$22/hour
