Job summary

Sandhill Cove Retirement Community is seeking a hospitality-focused Driver on a per diem basis in Florida. The role transports residents to grocery stores, outings, and extended trips, and may assist with housekeeping tasks as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid Florida driver’s license, and the ability to obtain CPR/AED certification. Pay rate is $17.00 per hour, with scheduled hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

• Assist Life Enrichment Manager in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment.
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Support creating a culture that drives top-line revenue and occupancy.

Sandhill Cove Retirement Community is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver (perdiem) to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus (14 passenger ) or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Life Enrichment Manager or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus (14 passenger)/van driver required
• Position requires a valid Florida Drivers License
• Must have the ability to obtain a CPR/AED certification

Pay rate: $17.00 an hour

************Scheduled time/hours: Saturday 3pm to 8:30pm and Sunday 8:30am to 5:30pm****************
