Job summary

Vail Resorts in South Lake Tahoe is hiring for winter 2026/27 to staff the Transportation Team as a driver. If you value safety, enjoy driving, and delivering excellent guest service, this role is for you.

No prior commercial driving experience is required; paid training is provided. The position offers winter seasonal employment with wages starting between $20.00 and $23.00 per hour, with housing availability and strong training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory Driving Record.
• Valid USA Driver’s License.
• Knowledgeable in 2‑way radio use and various codes.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport guests along scheduled routes and accommodate demand requests.
• Drive larger vehicles in all conditions.
• Provide exceptional guest service and share information about the area and transportation.
• Complete pre and post trip vehicle inspections.
• Basic vehicle maintenance checks (fluids, fuel).
• Other duties as assigned.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance including checking fluids and fueling

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
