Job summary

Vail Resorts in Kirkwood, CA, is hiring seasonal Transportation Team drivers. No prior commercial driving experience required; paid CDL training and testing provided. Starting wage $25.00/hr to $30.29/hr, with full-time and part-time hours and housing available.

Safely transport guests, perform vehicle inspections, and share information about the area and activities. Must obtain CDL within 20 days, maintain a clean driving record, and be adept with 2-way radios.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory Driving Record.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CDL Class A or B with Passenger endorsement within 20 days.
• Knowledge of 2-way radio use and codes.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport guests while adhering to routes and accommodating requests.
• Drive larger vehicles in all conditions.
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle systems and fluids knowledge for safety.
• Provide guest information about area, activities, and transportation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely transport small or large groups of guests while adhering to scheduled routes and accommodating demand requests
• Ability to drive larger vehicles in all conditions
• Responsible for completing pre and post trip vehicle inspections
• Advanced knowledge of vehicle maintenance, including but not limited to checking fluids, fueling and all safety systems
• Provide exceptional guest service to all guests and equip them with information about the area, activities and transportation in the resort
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Hold or be able to get a CDL Class A or B (w/Passenger endorsement) within the first 20 days of employment
• Be knowledgeable in 2-way radio use and various codes

The expected pay range is $25.00/hr - $30.29/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
