Job summary

Stellantisfinancialservices in Auburn Hills seeks a Design Systems Engineer to serve as the primary CE interface and manage system, interfaces and interactions within the transmission and driveline domain.

You will lead design reviews, coordinate with CAE and DRE teams, manage DFMEA/DRBFM, BOM coordination, prototype builds, and support cost roll-ups for new programs, ensuring robust design controls and timely updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years engineering experience in product development design and release.
• Minimum 2 years propulsion systems experience.
• Experience leading global teams.
• Understanding automotive manufacturing and quality processes.
• Advanced English language skills 90% (Read and Write).

Responsibilities

• Oversee hardware system design reviews across PRC and DRE design proposals as required.
• Coordinate BOM and prototype builds with ACE.
• Lead DFMEA/DRBFM reviews for transparency and cohesive design controls.
• Manage build readiness tasks (fixtures, dyno support) for prototypes.
• Support cost roll-ups for Minor/MCA/New Programs.
• Review and approve change notices ensuring alignment with E-BPs.
