Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Design Systems Engineer for FWD AT, CVT & Hybrid Transmissions in Auburn Hills, MI. The role interfaces CE with PRC and oversees system-level design, interfaces, and interactions across transmission subsystems.

The candidate will coordinate hardware integration, BOM, DFMEA/DRBFM reviews, and build readiness, while collaborating with COEs, manufacturing, and validation centers to ensure timely design reviews and robust DVP actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree field.
• Advanced English language skills (Read and Write).
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Demonstrated experience leading collaborative and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Design systems interface and interaction between components/subsystems of the transmission and driveline system.
• Coordinate with COEs, manufacturing, and validation centers to ensure design reviews.
• Manage DFMEA/DRBFM reviews and ensure cohesive design controls and DVP actions.
• Lead and manage build readiness tasks including fixtures and dyno support.
• Support cost reduction and value optimization efforts with cross-functional teams.
