Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Production Assembly (2nd Shift) associate for its Bowling Green facility to perform various assembly operations producing driveline components in a fast-paced environment. You will read blueprints, operate equipment, inspect parts for quality, document production data, and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals while maintaining 5S and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to work 2:00pm–10:30pm, basic mechanical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work the designated 2nd shift hours (2:00pm - 10:30pm).
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours) and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated assembly tasks for driveline components and sub-assemblies.
• Operate and monitor assembly equipment, machinery, and tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for quality defects and conformance to specifications, following all proper gaging techniques.
• Document production data, including quantities, scrap, and downtime.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with 5S principles.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.
