Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Chehalis, WA seeks a General Manager to lead a busy team, train crew, manage schedules, control costs and ensure guest satisfaction.

You will implement marketing plans, monitor inventory, open/close shifts, and uphold health, safety and quality standards while delivering a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related fields preferred.
• Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred) with experience running shifts without supervision.
• Willingness to work a minimum 5 day workweek with 4 closing shifts (or 4 day week) including irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs drive-in employees to meet operational standards.
• Open/close duties and staff scheduling.
• Monitor inventory; place orders for food, paper and supplies within cost control.
• Maintain employment records and payroll records.
• Foster customer service and resolve guest requests promptly.
• Interview and hire staff to achieve proper staffing levels.
• Prepare operational reports and action plans for financial/sales trends.
• Develop and implement a marketing plan.
