Job summary

Lodgco Hospitality is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support Hampton Inn North Port and Home2 Suites Casey Key/Nokomis. This dual-property role drives revenue growth through proactive sales, client tours, and accurate proposal preparation while maintaining strong client relationships.

The position emphasizes hotel sales, guest service, and collaboration with the sales team. Hotel experience or sales background is preferred, with benefits including time off and travel discounts.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred
• Sales experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record – satisfactory criminal background screening required

Responsibilities

• Answer sales phone calls when sales manager is not available
• Respond to all sales inquiries accurately, timely and in a professional manner
• Solicit new business based on hotel’s needs (group or transient TBD by GM or Sales Leader)
• Proactively sell meeting and banquet space
• Meet or exceed activity goals determined by GM or Sales Leader
• Type correspondence, reports and necessary forms (contracts, proposals, etc.) as directed
• Assists the sales manager with client events and tours
• Maintain well-documented, accurate, organized and up-to-date file management
• Develop strong customer relationships through professional client communication
• Work with sales personnel to achieve required sales team goals
