Job summary

SONIC Drive-In Shift Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations, training Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops, and ensuring quality food service in a clean, safe environment. You will help open/close, monitor staffing and inventory, and uphold policy compliance while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year of entry-level retail management is required.
• Strong communication and basic math, reading, and computer skills are expected.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to follow directions and work autonomously while maintaining standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coach team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops to meet service standards.
• Direct shifts to ensure food service meets operational standards.
• Open and/or close the drive-in, manage staffing and inventory adjustments.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with documentation and records.
• Reinforce customer service focus and promptly respond to guest requests.
