Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Simpsonville is seeking a General Manager/Operating Partner to lead daily operations and drive guest satisfaction. This exempt, full-time role oversees staffing, training, and performance, ensuring high-quality service.

Major duties include scheduling, cost control, and driving local marketing initiatives. The GM will supervise and coach staff, manage opening/closing, and ensure compliance with laws and company standards.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies in business/restaurant management preferred.
Experience: At least 3 years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision; recruiting, interviewing and managing employees.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, direct, coach, lead, schedule and discipline staff.
Manage labor, food, and inventory to control costs and uphold quality and service standards.
Lead team meetings, supervise operations, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout shifts.
Maintain records, prepare reports, and implement local marketing and performance plans.
Ensure compliance with laws and company policies; oversee sanitation and safety.
