Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in New Mexico is seeking a General Manager to lead and develop the restaurant team, ensuring a clean, safe and efficient operation. You will oversee staffing, inventory, and scheduling while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires 2+ years of restaurant management, strong leadership, and knowledge of labor laws and sanitation. You’ll guide operations, report performance, and implement marketing plans.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; business/restaurant mgmt studies preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in restaurant management; experience running shifts without supervision.
• Must work a minimum 5 days with irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of labor laws and sanitation standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic accounting and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach and supervise Crew/Team members and Carhops.
• Direct staffing and scheduling to meet service standards.
• Maintain compliance with policies, safety and cleanliness.
• Open/close the restaurant and prepare operational reports.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control.
