Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a General Manager to lead and manage the drive-in’s operations and employees, ensuring a clean, safe, and enjoyable guest experience. The GM will oversee recruitment, compensation, training, and day-to-day operations, including opening/closing, inventory, and vendor relations.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and ability to manage resources, cost controls, and local marketing initiatives to drive business performance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: At least three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of labor and employment laws; health and safety regs; strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, coach and manage staff.
• Oversee compensation, scheduling and performance.
• Ensure guest experience, sanitation, safety, and cost controls.
• Lead opening/closing, team meetings and reporting.
• Maintain records and vendor performance.
• Develop and implement local marketing plans.
