Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking a Co-Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing drive-in restaurant operations and administration. You will help train and support team members to ensure quality food, cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction.

Key duties include supervising staff, directing daily operations, enforcing policies, handling inventory and opening/closing tasks, and resolving guest concerns with a service-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or two years of entry-level retail management experience required.
• General knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team/Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to meet operational standards.
• Adheres to and monitors employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory levels and food cost control.
• Completes weekly inventory as needed.
• Assists in administrative duties including maintaining files, records and documentation.
• Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures employees focus on guests.
• Responds to guest requests and assists in resolving complaints.
