Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to assist the General Manager in overseeing drive-in operations and to help lead a team focused on quality, safety, and efficiency. You will train Crew Members and Skating Carhops, ensuring every guest enjoys a positive dining experience at SONIC.

The role requires flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, with experience in restaurant or retail management preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year of entry level retail management experience required.
• Experience running shifts without supervision.
• Strong communication and math skills for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support other employees to ensure quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner.
• Direct and assign staff to meet all aspects of food service standards.
• Open or close the restaurant as needed and monitor staffing and inventory levels.
• Maintain records and documentation and reinforce customer service focus.
