Job summary

SONIC Drive‑In in El Dorado, Arkansas is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in driving drive‑in operations, training staff, and delivering quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner.

The role requires at least six months of QSR management or one year retail management, ability to work nights/weekends/holidays, strong communication and multitasking, and a team‑oriented leader focused on guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns drive‑in restaurant employees to meet operational standards.
• Adheres to employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing, inventory and food cost; completes weekly inventory.
• Assists in administrative duties including maintaining files and records.
• Reinforces customer service mindset and responds to guest requests.
