Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in El Dorado, AR, seeks an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations, supervise Crew and Carhops, and ensure top-quality food and service. You’ll align staffing, inventory, and financial controls with company standards to drive guest satisfaction.

You’ll hire and train teams, implement marketing plans, and maintain compliance with labor and sanitation laws while delivering strong financial results and a welcoming drive-in experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies preferred.
• Minimum 2 years restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Ability to work a 5 day week with various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and selection practices.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Basic accounting and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coaches crew, carhops, and management staff.
• Ensures food service meets standards and customer experience is excellent.
• Prepares schedules and manages staffing levels.
• Monitors inventory and places orders within cost controls.
• Maintains employment and payroll records.
• Develops and implements a marketing plan.
• Opens/closes the restaurant and runs operating reports.
• Resolves guest requests promptly and addresses complaints.
