Job summary

SONIC Drive-In, Fallon, NV, is hiring an Assistant Manager to help the General Manager run daily drive-in operations. You will train and support Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops while ensuring food quality, cleanliness, safety and speedy service.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, handling guest requests, and resolving complaints. You’ll work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and you’ll help manage staffing, inventory, and pricing in a fast-paced QSR

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, monitor and coach Team/Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to meet operational standards.
• Open and/or close the restaurant.
• Monitor staffing levels, inventory, and food cost control.
• Complete weekly inventory and maintain records.
• Support the General Manager to ensure quality, safe and efficient service.
