SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager in a bustling Austin-area location. You will support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations, while training and coaching team members to uphold quality food, safety, and efficiency.

The role emphasizes strong communication, the ability to manage shifts, and maintaining high guest satisfaction during irregular hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry-level retail management.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support other employees to ensure quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner.
• Direct and assign staff to meet operational standards and ensure excellent guest service.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties and monitor staffing, inventory and food cost control.
• Reinforce customer service mentality and promptly address guest requests and complaints.
