Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager, oversee daily drive-in operations, and train staff to deliver quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• General knowledge of the restaurant industry or retail operations.
• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to ensure standards.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing, inventory and food cost control.
• Reinforces customer service and addresses guest requests and complaints.
