Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative to manage the sales process and deliver exceptional customer service for homebuyers. You will source new customers, help clients design their dream home, and guide them through the sales journey to ensure a smooth experience.

The position emphasizes communication, product knowledge, and meeting sales goals in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. A vehicle and valid license are required for travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or 2 years related experience required.
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be able to drive daytime or nighttime.
• Ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop.
• Ability to apply common sense to instructions given in written, oral form or via DRH Sales applications.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition, product vision and capabilities to potential customers.
• Uncover customer goals and establish DR Horton as the best solution.
• Overcome objections and close sales.
• Maintain documentation from sale through loan, options, and construction.
• continually source new sales opportunities.
• Create and provide to management a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships.
• Network and perform outreach to realtors.
• Manage time, meet sales goals, and work with the team.
• Maintain and expand database of prospects.
• Attend sales meetings.
• Develop and maintain good rapport with customers, realtors, and team members.
• Execute policies to ensure quality standards.
• Conduct all business professionally to serve customers and increase goodwill and profit.
