Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative to manage the sales process and provide excellent customer service. G enerate new opportunities, help buyers design their dream home, and ensure a smooth transaction from start to finish.

The role requires strong communication, CRM familiarity, and the ability to drive as part of a Fortune 500 company with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 2 years related experience.
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be able to drive day or night.
• Ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop.
• Ability to apply common sense to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours, or 8 hours with varying positions.
• Exposure to outside weather conditions; moderate noise level.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition, product vision and capabilities to potential customers.
• Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges then establish DR Horton as the best solution.
• Overcome objections and closes for the sale.
• Maintain documentation from sale through loan, options, and construction.
• Continually source new sales opportunities.
• Create and provide to management a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships.
• Network and perform outreach to realtors.
• Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals and work with team.
• Maintain and expand database of prospects.
• Attend sales meetings.
• Develop and maintain good rapport with customers, realtors, and team members.
• Execute policies to ensure quality standards.
• Conduct all business professionally to serve customers and improve goodwill and profit.
