Shamrock Trading Corporation seeks a Carrier Sales Representative with drayage experience to expand our intermodal and port-related freight operations across the U.S. and Canada.

The role focuses on prospecting, qualifying, and securing drayage carriers to support customer shipments. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, ambitious, and outgoing, with a track record in proactive sales and strong relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
• Experience in drayage, port terminals, or intermodal operations is strongly valued.
• Proven success in proactive sales with a customer focus.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and qualify new carriers to grow drayage network.
• Negotiate rates to support customer freight opportunities.
• Secure carrier capacity for live and drop container moves.
• Coordinate scheduling, arrival dates, and delivery appointments.
• Track shipments and ensure timely execution and service quality.
• Maintain carrier records and compliance documentation.
• Contribute to bids for current or prospective clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
