Job summary

ASR International is seeking an experienced IT Asset Manager (ITAM) / DPAS Specialist to support the JCSE ITAM program. You will manage DoD government assets, ensure accurate tracking in DPAS, and coordinate with government and contractor personnel to enhance readiness.

You will perform asset updates, daily recordkeeping, and audits, develop processes, and deliver training while maintaining compliance with government policies. This is a fulltime, on-site position in support of DoD objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years DoD logistics, IT asset management, property accountability, or related assets.
• 2+ years direct, hands-on DPAS experience.
• Active Secret clearance; US citizen.
• Experience with asset inventories, accountability and lifecycle tracking.
• Knowledge of government property accountability and inventory practices.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills for large inventories.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide ITAM support to maintain accountability and accuracy within DPAS.
• Perform asset additions, updates, transfers, moves, changes and deletions in DPAS.
• Maintain asset records and ensure compliance with government property requirements.
• Develop and maintain asset management processes, procedures, workflows and docs.
• Coordinate with ECs, PAs and stakeholders for proper accountability.
• Support annual and floor-to-book inventories of IT assets.
• Conduct physical inventories and reconcile DPAS records.
• Prepare discrepancy reports and corrective action recommendations.
• Support shipping, receiving, staging, storage, issuance, transfer and disposition.
• Assign equipment to custodians and issue accountability docs.
• Support PCAs and validate asset records against inventories.
• Investigate discrepancies and assist with FLIPL when required.
• Coordinate with Configuration Management for CI alignment.
• Deliver annual refresher training for equipment custodians.
• Prepare monthly status reports and asset metrics.
• Collaborate with government and contractor personnel to improve readiness.
