Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Dozer Operator to support production operations on North American projects. The role involves operating a variety of equipment, performing inspections, and maintaining a clean, safe work area on site in Scout Island, CO.

You will participate in safety talks, follow PPE protocols, and help ensure environmental and health and safety standards are met throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating a haul truck, dozer, and excavator.
• Experience with light maintenance including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of heavy and light equipment and machines to create finished products.
• May feed materials into machines, and transfer material from one location to another.
• Conducts pre and post-trip inspections, identifying malfunctions and items in need of repair.
• May perform light maintenance.
• Operate dozer to create pit slopes and grade for drainage.
• Assists in keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Attends and participates in safety toolbox talks, and other employee meetings/events.
• Reports near misses or other safety incidents or accidents promptly, and in accordance with proper procedures.
• Adheres to all environmental and safety regulations.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety andenvironmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
