Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. seeks an Equipment Operator to run dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks and other heavy machinery for paving, earthmoving and material handling. You will perform daily inspections and keep equipment clean and safe.

Candidate should have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience with strong reading, writing and driving skills. A valid driver’s license and adherence to PPE protocols are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimun of one year of related work experience or equivalent combination of eduaction and experience. Ability to read and write. Excellent driving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate various heavy equipment in order to loads trucks, feeds bins with various aggregate materials, maintain proper quantities of material to be loaded.
• Maintain equipment: Keeps equipment clean and orderly.
• Safety: Performs daily inspections on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental requirements are followed at all times.
• Load material into bins, into crusher, into trucks or into plant.
• Moves earth or other materials from one location to another.
• Performs visual and safety inspection of equipment. May maintain appearance of equipment, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels or perform minor repairs as needed.
• Completes are paperwork that may be necessary; assists with other duties required.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
