Job summary

Amrize in Scout Island CO is seeking a Dozer Operator to support production operations. You will operate dozer and ancillary equipment to create pit slopes, grade for drainage, and help maintain a clean, safe work area.

The role requires a High School diploma/GED and at least three years of experience operating haul trucks, dozers, and excavators, with basic maintenance skills. Safety compliance and PPE use are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience operating a haul truck, dozer, and excavator.
• Experience in light maintenance to include electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
• Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved PPE, including respirators.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of heavy and light equipment and machines to create finished products.
• May feed materials into machines, and transfer material from one location to another.
• Conducts pre and post-trip inspections, identifying malfunctions and items in need of repair.
• May perform light maintenance.
• Operate dozer to create pit slopes and grade for drainage.
• Attends and participates in safety toolbox talks, and other employee meetings/events.
• Reports near misses or other safety incidents promptly, and in accordance with proper procedures.
• Adheres to all environmental and safety regulations.
