Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Equipment Operator to run heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, excavators, and haul trucks on construction projects across North America. You will perform routine inspections, maintain equipment, and assist with daily jobsite tasks to keep operations productive and safe.

Qualified candidates have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year related experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and write. Excellent driving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load trucks and move materials.
• Keep equipment clean, well-maintained, and in safe condition.
• Perform daily inspections to ensure safe operation and report issues.
• Follow safety, environmental, and compliance requirements at all times.
• Load materials into bins, crushers, trucks or plants as needed.
• Move earth or materials between locations as required.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment and assist with minor repairs or upkeep.
• Complete required paperwork and assist with other duties as needed.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies and promote safety culture.
