Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a security guard to observe and report on client-site activities, patrolling premises, and ensuring safety for personnel and property.

You will record observations, respond to incidents, and complete thorough reports while maintaining a professional demeanor and reliable attendance. A valid NYS Security Guard License and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of 18 years of age.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License is required.
• Available to work weekends, including Sundays.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to verbally de-escalate tense situations.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities at the client site to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct periodic patrols of assigned areas and check access points.
• Record observations and incidents; complete reports with signatures.
• Respond to security incidents and follow directives from supervisors.
• Maintain reliable attendance and communicate any schedule changes.

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Sunday-Thursday 00-0800

Up to USD $23.74/Hr.

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations
