Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a security officer to observe and report activities at client sites, conduct patrols, and enforce site regulations. The role requires standing for most of the workday and effective communication in English.

Candidates must be at least 18, hold a high school diploma or GED, and possess a valid NJ SORA license. The position is full-time with benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401K, PTO, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Monday to Friday 2300/0700

Up to USD $17.50/Hr.

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
