Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a security officer to protect client property and personnel at a Jersey City site. The role requires patrolling, reporting, and maintaining safety, with a Sunday-Thursday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shift.

Starting wage is USD 18.00 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities offered. Candidate must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid NJ SORA license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Must be able to understand and communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at the client site to ensure security and safety of property and personnel.
• Make periodic tours to check for irregularities and enforce site regulations.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, and inspecting access points.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, and surveillance activity; interview witnesses and obtain signatures.
• Perform tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager; stand for the majority of the workday.

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.
Sunday to Thursday 11-7am
Starting from USD $18.00/Hr.

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
