Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is hiring a security officer for night shifts to observe, report, and safeguard client sites. You will patrol, monitor surveillance, and enforce site rules to protect people and property.

Fridays and Saturdays 23:00–07:00; up to $19.00/hr. Comprehensive benefits include Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, PTO and Life Insurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site to ensure safety of property and personnel.
• Make periodic tours, secure premises, monitor surveillance, inspect buildings and access points, and enforce regulations.
• Complete reports by recording observations and interviewing witnesses.

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Friday and Saturday 2300-0700

Up to USD $19.00/Hr.

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
• High School Diploma / GED required
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
