Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking staff to observe and report activities at client sites, patrol premises, and ensure safety and order. The role requires standing for most of the workday while enforcing site rules and protecting people and property.

Schedule is Monday-Friday with flexible hours. Starting pay is USD $30.00 per hour. NYS Security Guard License is required, along with weekend availability and strong customer service and de-escalation skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills.
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.
