Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a vigilant Security Guard to observe and protect client property and personnel at a designated site in New York. The role requires standing for long periods and performing regular patrols, with emphasis on reporting anomalies and enforcing site rules.

Shifts run Sunday through Thursday from 00:00 to 08:00. The compensation is up to 23.74 USD per hour, with benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401K, PTO and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills.
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Pay Range

Up to USD $23.74/Hr.
