Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. seeks a vigilant security guard to protect client sites, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professional discretion.

The role requires weekend availability, standing for long periods, and holding a valid NYS Security Guard License. You will deliver excellent customer service, de-escalate tense situations, and work closely with on-site teams to maintain safety and order.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Available to work weekends.
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities at an assigned client site.
• Protect client property and personnel by patrolling and monitoring.
• Complete reports documenting observations and incidents; interview witnesses as needed.
• Follow supervisor directions and perform duties as assigned.

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work required to stand for majority of workday.

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations
