Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer in Elizabeth, NJ. The role involves observing and reporting incidents at a client site, patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance, and enforcing access controls. Requires 18+, a valid NJ SORA license, and English proficiency.

Shifts run Saturdays to Tuesdays from 2pm to 10pm. Benefits include PTO, life and health plans, and a 401(k). Starting pay is $19.75 per hour, with standard driving requirements and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma / GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA license.
• Able to understand and communicate in English.
• Valid driver''s license and clean driving record.
• Physically able to perform the tasks required.
• Must stand for the majority of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at the client site to ensure safety and security.
• Patrol premises, monitor surveillance, inspect access points and buildings.
• Secure premises and personnel; respond to irregularities per policy.
• Complete incident reports and witness statements with accurate details.
• Follow supervisor instructions and guidance during shifts.

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Saturdays to Tuesdays 2pm-10pm

Starting from USD $19.75/Hr.

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must have a physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
