Job summary

Doyle Security Services (DSS) seeks a site security officer for a Mon-Fri evening shift in Newfield, NJ. The role involves patrolling, observing and reporting activities to protect client property and personnel.

Requirements include 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid NJ SORA license. English communication is essential, along with physical ability to perform tasks. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401K, PTO and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, ensuring security for people and property.
• Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities and safety concerns.
• Preserves order and may enforce site regulations for personnel, visitors and premises.
• Stand for the majority of the workday as required by the role.
• Report irregularities and inform violators of policy and procedures.
• Secure premises by patrolling, monitor surveillance equipment and inspect access points.
• Complete reports by recording observations and interviewing witnesses; obtain signatures.
• Carry out tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Monday to Friday 1PM to 9PM

Up to USD $17.50/Hr.

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
