Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a friendly, professional server to provide exceptional guest service at the Marriott Jacksonville Downtown. You will greet guests, take orders, input into the POS, and deliver meals with accuracy while maintaining a polished appearance.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of menu items, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel dining environment. Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 lbs and work a flexible schedule that includes weekends

Qualifications

• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Be a team player and willing to pitch in for co-workers.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards and guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Check station before, during and after shift for proper setup and cleanliness.
• Greet guests courteously, explain specials and promotions.
• Record orders and input into POS system for kitchen processing.
• Deliver orders to guests with accuracy and timely service.
• Assist with beverages, desserts, and specialty drinks as needed.
• Adhere to all state, federal and corporate beverage service regulations.
• Maintain guest satisfaction and upsell menu items.
• Assist with open/close procedures and closing out checks.
