Job summary

Repligen is seeking a Field Application Scientist, Downstream Filtration, to serve as a technical leader supporting adoption of our downstream filtration portfolio. You will partner with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and R&D to solve bioprocessing challenges and drive technology adoption across customers.

You will leverage deep knowledge of TFF and downstream development to influence process decisions, support programs, and help launch new products. Travel up to 75% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of downstream bioprocessing, process development, manufacturing, or field applications.
• Strong knowledge of tangential flow filtration (TFF) and downstream process development.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 75% with occasional international travel.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience influencing decisions through technical leadership in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical leader for downstream filtration applications and advise customers.
• Partner with Sales, Product Management, Marketing to drive adoption and growth.
• Develop application data, technical reports, and customer-facing content.
• Provide technical leadership to optimize processes and implement new technologies.
• Travel domestically up to 75% to support customers.
