Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-3 years’ Plant Operator experience (or equivalent industrial experience).
• Ability to complete the Control Room Operator qualification card.
• Pre-employment DOT drug screening and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor power plant equipment to maintain safe, efficient performance.
• In the control room, operate HMIs/panels to regulate turbines, generators and auxiliaries; maintain steam conditions.
• Execute plant startup/shutdown and load control; respond to emergencies to protect equipment and service.
• Maintain CRO/shift logs and coordinate with dispatch for real-time needs.
• Generate and review work requests for repairs; assist maintenance with safe tool use.
