Job summary

Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) seeks a seasoned DOT compliance professional to act as SME for FMCSA, DOT, IFTA, HOS/ELD and related regulations. You will own licensing, registrations, and reporting programs, coordinating with Tax, Fleet, and Shop teams to ensure compliance and operational readiness.

The role requires leadership, strong analytical skills, and cross-functional collaboration to improve fleet oversight and regulatory adherence across DTNA’s vehicle operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 8 years experience in related field.
• 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong judgement and analytical thinking for regulatory compliance.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional solutions and gaps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on FMCSA, DOT, IFTA, HOS/ELD and customs requirements.
• Oversee DOT regulatory reporting and data integrity.
• Own licensing and registration programs for vehicles.
• Lead regulatory audits and corrective action tracking.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and asset tracking.
